Winds of Passion
Life is about experiencing a variety of opportunities that shape who you are as an individual. Throughout life your passion for certain subjects or activities may change at various times. Courtney learned a great deal from her experience with horses and developed an appreciation for the dedication needed to sustain any passion.
We had heard many stories from horse owners about how a child's passion for the sport subsided as they grew older. It is a very time consuming sport and really doesn't allow for participation in other activities. Courtney's passion and interest right now has moved to volleyball and tennis.
Although she no longer rides on a regular basis or travels to horse shows her involvement in the sport will benefit her throughout life. In addition to the discipline and strength needed to control a massive animal is impressive. In addition she met a variety of people who contributed to her growth as a young woman.
We will support her newest passions knowing that each experience will shape who she becomes in the future.
