THE BARN HAS MOVED
Although Courtney still loves animals and enjoys horses her interest has subsided a bit and our move to town was precipitated by this loss of interest. Courtney's horse Al is being boarded at a stable on 1/2 mile from our house so hopefully in 2012 she will be able to spend more time with him.
I know that her mom is much more pleasant now that she doesn't have to feed animals two times per day and march through the snow to a barn. In our new location someone else mow's the yard and once we have our first snow we will have no shoveling to do.
Courtney's interests are now focused on doing well in her classes, playing volleyball and becoming a member of the FFA speech team. She is a very confident speaker and will see a lot of success in this event once she gets more involved.
Courtney has a number of interests and talent but her biggest challenge right now is finding out what activity can hold her interest. I am sure she will find that passion this coming year and in future posts we will report her success.
Courtney has enjoyed her freshmen year and we are anxious to see what we believe will be an outstanding first semester after the first of the year.
Until next time!
